Poulsbo, Washington is a delightful community with a Scandinavian heritage, located on Liberty Bay toward the Northern end of Kitsap County. With a charming Historic Downtown overflowing with shops, art galleries, restaurants, bakeries, and three marinas, there is something for everyone. Rent a kayak to explore the bay or sit in the Austin Kvelstad Pavilion enjoying a cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains. Poulsbo is also home to Central Market, a destination marketplace with fresh local offerings as well as typical grocery items. The Olhava commercial center hosts larger retailers such as Home Depot, Walmart, and Office Max, to name a few. A twenty-minute drive to both the Bainbridge and Kingston Ferries, “Little Norway” provides an easy connection to the eastside communities of Seattle and Edmonds and is also a gateway to the grandeur of the Olympic Peninsula. Annual festivals include Viking Fest, Arts by the Bay, Fireworks on the Bay, and the Santa Lucia Festival.
